Dal keerai (murungai keerai)
Ingredients:
murungai keerai 1 big cup
toor dal 1/4 cup
onion 1
green chilli 2
garlic 5 cloves
tomato 1
salt to taste
oil 2 tbsp
mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
urad dal 1/2 tsp
jeera 1/4 tsp
red chilli 2
hing (optional) a pinch
water 1/2 cup
Directions:
In a presure cooker, add dal, chopped onion, gr.chilli, garlic, tomato, water.
Let them cook for atleast 3 wistle.
When the dal is cooked add keerai, then cook for 2 wistle.
Then add salt and smash it well by using blender.
In another cadai, add oil, mustard seeds, urad dal, jeera, red chilli, hing one by one fry and add to the keerai.
